Hey friends,

The trip has been quite the experience so far. It’s the kind of trip you can’t properly prepare yourself for. This picture is from the McDonald Observatory in western texas. The man standing next to me is a research engineer for the telescopes. He let us stay the night at his house and gave us a personal tour of the telescopes. No doubt one of the top experiences of the trip. Probably the smatest man I’ve spent an extended period of time talking to as well. I’m sure you’ll all hear about it when we get back.
